Bad Ice Cream 3 continues the maze-puzzle series where you control an ice-cream character sliding around a grid, collecting fruit while dodging enemies and shaping the battlefield itself out of ice blocks. Every level is really two problems layered on top of each other: figure out how to reach and collect every piece of fruit, and figure out how to do it without getting cornered by whatever's chasing you.
The ice-block mechanic is what elevates it above a simple maze chase β you can throw down blocks to wall off enemies, build bridges across gaps, or trap a chaser in a dead end entirely. That means smart, defensive block placement is often more valuable than pure speed, especially on later levels where enemies get faster and the fruit is placed in more awkward spots.
It's a smart evolution of the classic collect-and-avoid maze formula, where placing ice blocks well matters as much as your reflexes. If you enjoy grid-based puzzle-chase games, GBK Games also has Paper.IO 2 for a different spin on territory and evasion.
