Basket Random takes the ragdoll-physics chaos of its sister game Soccer Random and applies it to basketball — wobbly, floppy players, a randomized court and crowd every single match, and controls stripped down to essentially one button per player. The result is basketball that looks and plays nothing like a real game of basketball, which is exactly why it's so entertaining; a shot that should be a clean layup can bounce off a flailing limb and somehow still go in.
Because the physics are so unpredictable, skill matters less than in a more traditional basketball game — timing your jump and shot roughly right is often enough, and the randomness keeps even lopsided matches entertaining since either player can get a lucky bounce at any moment.
It's pure, ridiculous fun that never takes itself seriously, and the constantly changing courts keep every match visually fresh. GBK Games also has Soccer Random and Boxing Random from the same ragdoll-physics family of games.
