Get on Top comes from Bennett Foddy, the game designer and academic behind a series of intentionally awkward physics-based games (including QWOP and, most famously, Getting Over It) built around clumsy, unconventional control schemes that make simple physical actions genuinely difficult to execute. Here that philosophy is applied to wrestling — knocking your opponent down while staying upright yourself, using controls that make balance far harder than it sounds.
