Fireboy and Watergirl: Ice Temple is the third installment in Oslo Albet's long-running cooperative puzzle series, following the original Forest Temple and the Light Temple sequel. Each entry in the series introduced a new temple setting with its own added mechanic layered on top of the core fire-and-water hazard system, and here it's slippery ice — surfaces that send both characters sliding until they hit something solid.
That ice mechanic significantly raises the puzzle complexity compared to the original game, since momentum and sliding now have to be factored into positioning alongside the existing fire, water, and goo hazards, giving veteran players of the series a genuinely fresh challenge.
As with the rest of the series, the goal is guiding both characters safely to their exit doors while collecting gems, but here you must also account for ice-driven sliding momentum in every puzzle.
The added ice mechanic keeps the beloved formula feeling fresh for series veterans. GBK Games also has Fireboy and Watergirl: Forest Temple for the original entry.
